Roy is responsible for all commercial procurement activities for gas and electricity, including the procurement of renewable resources, conventional resources, qualifying facilities, gas supplies, pipelines and storage.

Marc Gottschalk, Partner - Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati
Marc is a partner in the real estate and environmental practice and heads the environmental practice. Marc also coordinates the firm's energy and environmental technology practice, focusing on emerging alternative energy companies and companies with environmentally beneficial technologies. He is also co-chair of the 2007 California CleanTech Open, the nation's premier business plan competition for clean technology ventures.

Sue Kateley, Executive Director - CAL SEIA
Sue Kateley is Executive Director of CALSEIA, a position she returned to in 2007 following 20 years at the California Energy Commission. From 1983 to 1986, Sue served as Executive Director of CALSEIA. Sue's first job in the solar industry was as a purchasing agent for a solar company located in the Sacramento area, where she worked from 1978 until 1981. In 1981, Sue started working for CALSEIA as Technical Adviser.

Ed Smeloff , Senior Manager, Utility Project Sales - SunPower Corporation
Ed Smeloff joined SunPower in September of 2007 and serves as its senior manager, Utility Project Sales. He is responsible for developing large solar projects for electric utilities for SunPower's North American Systems division. His expertise includes more than 20 years in solar and energy efficiency project development, energy policy, and strategic planning and program management. Most recently, Smeloff was senior manager for project sales at Sharp Solar, where he successfully drove module sales for commercial projects. Previously, he was assistant general manager for power policy, planning and resource development at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, where was instrumental in developing the 670 kW SunPower solar electric system on the Moscone Convention Center rooftop. Smeloff began his power industry career as a member of the Sacramento Municipal Utility District Board of Directors, where he transitioned the agency into one of the nation's leading utilities in developing effective energy efficiency programs.
Smeloff received his bachelors of arts, Russian, from University of California at Davis, and earned his masters of public administration from the University of Southern California.

Joseph Kastner , Vice President, Solar Implementation and Operations - MMA Renewable Ventures
Joseph is Vice President, Implementation and Operations. He is responsible for sourcing and developing qualified renewable energy projects that fit the investment profile of the company. He also oversees the management of assets under construction and operation. Prior to joining MMA Renewable Ventures, he was responsible for project implementation, operations and maintenance as the U.S.-based renewable energy division manager for NUON Renewable Ventures USA LLC. Mr. Kastner's extensive renewable energy background includes academic research and professional experience. He has worked as a consultant to commercial and residential building owners and investors in the areas of energy efficiency and the use of photovoltaic and thermal solar energy systems. Mr. Kastner has a Master's Degree in Energy Engineering from Stanford University, a Master's Degree in Environmental Science and Management from the Donald Bren School at the University of California - Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.

Hal La Flash, Director of Integrated Resource Planning and Policy - PG&E>
Hal LaFlash is the director of integrated resource planning and policy in the gas and electric supply organization at PG&E.
A major responsibility of his position is planning for and attracting "best fit" renewable resource additions to meet the California Renewable Portfolio Standard. This lead to working with the concentrating solar power industry on the Solar Task Force of the Western Governors Association's Clean and Diversified Energy Initiative. Hal is also responsible for evaluating the environmental aspects of PG&E's resource mix. As such, in June 2005, he represented PG&E on the World Environment Day panel "From Skyscrapers to Greenhouses: Leaders Take Action to Reduce CO2." He also co-authored "Hedging Carbon Risk: Protecting Customers and Shareholders from the Financial Risk Associated with Carbon Dioxide Emissions," which was published by the Electricity Journal in July 2005.
Hal joined PG&E in 1980 where his first position was assistant solar engineer. He has since held various positions in energy efficiency, nonutility generation, tariffs, and gas transportation. He also held positions at PG&E Corporation in corporate development and business planning. He has been in his current position since January 2004.
Hal has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, and a Masters in Business Administration degree from Saint Mary's College of California.

Kristina Peterson, Director, Structured Finance - SunTech America
Kristina is responsible for customer, project and structured finance for Suntech Power in the U.S. and Europe. She manages bank, fund, institutional investor and private equity relationships for Suntech Power U.S. Support Suntech Power's investments in various partners globally. Kristina developed Suntech's solar PPA/project finance business and dealer credit financing program. Focused on develop of utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) project globally.
Kristina is an expat Vice President, Structured Finance, for three years in the Middle East (Dubai, UAE).
Formerly an international lender for start-ups and complex long-term international project finance deals, primarily in power generation and telecom sectors. She is interested in international finance and business development for companies expanding globally.

Rob Lamkin, CEO- Cool Earth Solar
Mr. Lamkin has over 20 years experience in the western energy market and has served in a variety of leadership positions and performed numerous project responsibilities. At the Calpine Corporation, Mr. Lamkin was the corporate officer with leadership responsibility for development, construction, and financing of its power generation fleet. Under Mr. Lamkin's direction, over 10,000 MW of new power plant capacity were successfully developed and over 6,000 MW were constructed and brought into commercial operations. Mr. Lamkin was also responsible for leading the Asset Management, Marketing & Origination, Legislative and Government Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, and the Transmission groups for the Western United States Region. This included management responsibility for nearly 20 operating power projects totaling over 8,000 MW.
Mr. Lamkin also previously served as Vice President at Mirant Corporation and had responsibility in completing the acquisition of 3,100 MW of gas-fired power plants from PG&E. He had the responsibility for asset management of these facilities and managed the Regulatory and Government Affairs Group.
Earlier, Mr. Lamkin held a variety of positions at the Northern California Power Agency in the areas of Planning, Operations, and Trading & Marketing. He most notably served as Assistant General Manager and was responsible for all aspects of the generation assets, including asset management, operations, and Trading & Marketing.
Immediately previous to assuming his current role at Cool Earth Solar, Mr. Lamkin was the Founder and CEO of Radiant Energy. Radiant Energy develops renewable and clean power generation assets with a focus on solar and geothermal projects. In July, 2007 Cool Earth Solar merged with Radiant Energy and Mr. Lamkin became the CEO of the newly merged company.

Bob Cart, Founder and CEO - Greenvolts
Bob is an entrepreneur with 20 years of successful technology and product development experience. He co-founded database software developer Log Savvy Corporation as VP of Products. He was Senior VP of Product & Brand Management for 1st Financial Bank USA and President of its Netcard.com subsidiary. As VP of Engineering for Cybergold, he helped lead that company to its $174 million IPO. Bob was also the CEO and co-founder of WestWorld Media and GulfStream Communications and CEO of precision machine tool manufacturer, Industrial Cutting Die.

Arno Harris, CEO - Recurrent Energy
Arno is a solar industry veteran and successful entrepreneur. His career features a number of solar industry milestones, including the sale to Google of the largest US corporate solar generating system. Prior to Recurrent Energy, Arno was general manager of EI Solutions, serving large-scale commercial and government solar customers. EI Solutions was formed when Arno sold his pioneering solar business, Prevalent Power, to Energy Innovations in 2005. Arno’s previous experience includes founder and leadership roles for startups that include WineShopper.com, RedEnvelope (NASDAQ:REDE), and Novo Media Group. His background combines marketing, sales and consulting with experience serving such clients as Berlex, Toyota Motor Sales USA, GlaxoWellcome, MCI, Apple Computer, Hewlett-Packard, Nikon Precision, IKEA International and NBC Digital Publishing.
